Seeing is believing

The location of this house is its most stunning feature. Perched as it is, upon a small hill, Cortijo Nieves is surrounded by Spanish oaks, almonds trees and olive groves. Amongst the wild grasses are herbs and flowers and in the distance one sees the many citrus fruit trees in the valley below. A short distance away are the pine and fir forests of the Sierras.

Wildlife is abundant, especially in the early morning and towards to the end of the day. The superb panorama affords one the most amazing views where eagles, vultures, deer and wild mountain goats are sometimes seen. The natural park has many unique species of flora and fauna including some rare pine and fir trees.
