The property can be found 1 kilometre down a Spanish country road, just off the main road out of Guaro. This country road is not paved, just compacted stones, as is common in this part of Spain.

The house is within easy reach of the four most superb natural protected areas of Andalucia - the Parque Natural de Los Alconacales (Cork Oak Forest), the Sierra de Grazalema, the Sierra Bermeja (with its unique Pine trees) and of course the Sierra de Las Nieves. The small white villages in the surrounding countryside date back to Moorish, Roman or even earlier. The ancient cities of Cordoba, Ronda and Seville and the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada are not far away.
